Lighting helps bring your event alive and Productive Media has been enhancing events with lighting design since our founding in 1996.

Audio Visual Lighting, or Live Event Lighting is different than lighting for a video or film production. Where video and film lighting is generally focused on capturing an image, event lighting is about creating and directing interest.

It can be as simple as two bright lights on a tall stands pointing at a podium, or as complex as dozens of moving lights with color changers, gobo patterns, and pre-programmed effects – with fog, haze, and lasers – all sitting on massive amounts of truss.

Typically, if an event has up to 400 audience members and a modest budget, we use a few lights to "wash" a stage and a few focused lights to draw the audience's attention to a specific point on the stage.

Other lights and effects can include:

• Up lights that are generally placed on the floor and pointed up at the drape line or wall, add to the look of a presentation.
• Lights with gobos that can make a pattern on the walls or floor.
• Motion Lights that can add excitement or changing colors to the event.
